Our Expertise

We are Environmental Air Quality Professionals, Registered Professional Industrial Hygienist, Environmental Property Assessors, Residential and Commercial Building Inspectors & Air Quality Professionals involved in testing and consulting since 1992. Our company specializes in consultation and site assessments for clients who are property owners or are involved in property transfer or refinancing.

Our areas of expertise include Environmental Air Quality testing, Phase I, II, III, Radon testing, Asbestos inspection & testing, Lead inspection, in addition to Commercial & Home Inspections, and. We serve clients in the United States, primarily Southeast Tennessee & Northwest Georgia & Internationally.

Mission Statement

Our mission statement is to assist our clients in avoiding or minimizing potential problems and to develop a strategic plan to deal with their existing or emerging problems. 

We teach and lecture nationally and internationally in our areas of expertise. Some of our clients are Georgia Tech; Donetsk, Ukraine Technical University; Professional Conventions and Seminars; Real Estate Groups, Lending Institutions; and Attorney Meetings.

PRESIDENT: Walter H. Carter, REM, RIHP,REPA, Graduated from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology (with honors) B.S. Chemistry, 1973. Graduate of Laboratory and X-Ray Technology Institute, 1967; and Graduate U.S. Navy Class A Hospital Corpsman School, 1965. Author of Healthy Buildings, Singapore, Singapore, Georgia Tech Air Quality course & two Society of Petroleum Engineers technical papers, twelve U. S. Patents, several foreign patents, and his work and patents are referenced in several books. Mr. Carter’s articles and papers are used to Instruct other Environmental Air Quality Professionals.

  • Registered Professional Industrial Hygienist (RPIH) - Post Graduate work at Georgia Tech and the University of Alabama in Environmental Audits and Site Assessments, Asbestos and Lead.
  • Registered Environmental Manager (REM # 5873) and Registered Environmental Property Assessor (REPA # 2944) by National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP).
  • Member of Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI) with a Council of American Building Officials (CABO) Certification #2006 for 1 & 2 Family Dwellings Certified Asbestos Building Inspector.

  • Manager of polymer development and technical service for one of the top 10 chemical companies in the world, with primary responsibility for management of polymer development and rheology modifiers and rubber specialties technical service
  • Senior Chemist with major oil company in Houston, Texas with primary responsibilities including managing research, development and field implementation of projects for enhanced oil recovery, vertical conformance, and water shut-off 
  • Chemical laboratory technician specializing in water soluble polymer research and development and technical service with emphasis in guar, xanthan, and synthetic polymers .
